Will changes in virtual customer interactions affect your sales?
We have seen significant changes in how we interact with retailers and those new methods of connecting are leaving some teams in the dark. We believe organizations will need to be overhauled to be effective and efficient. The highly effective salesperson of yesterday, may not be effective in today's new marketplace. New skills like visual/virtual selling will need to be enhanced and in some cases developed. New tools in monitoring sales performance remotely. In some cases, companies will need to completely overhaul the organization to better interface with customers in the new selling environment. What was a successful salesperson pre COVID 19 will not necessarily be effective today.
